So far this week I have run......

3 times, according to the marathon plan.

Tuesday - run 35 minutes - check.
Wednesday - run 75 minutes - crap that was hard. I could have turned back after 10 minutes. My brain and body sort of disassociated, my eyeballs rolled around in my skull and I felt a bit pukey. 63 minutes later I just couldn't continue and was home.
Thursday - run 40 minutes - check. I could have just kept going and going. But didn't.

A sports massage this afternoon was fab. I've got a band for working my glutes and some breathing exercises. Oooh!

Rest day tomorrow.

At least you want to go out running. Thats the hard part! Take a few days rest and then you'll spring back stronger than ever.

I've fallen off track with running too. I always do; but it's normally not after just one week.
I'm just not in the mood for anything that doesn't involve sitting on the sofa and eating Pringles crisps.

T.I.T.N -I've heard other people say foam rollers are good, probably about time I got one.

kate - cheers mate.

red - I don't feel like I've fallen off track with the running. It was just one bad run, which I find periodically happens and I can't always put my finger on the reason why. I just try not to let one bad run get me down. I'm finding having a training plan for the running and trying to stick to it is really helping with motivation including encouraging me out on the bike and doing my core work.

Emma - thanks. Long run tomorrow 3hrs. Just saw your new blog, re struggling to eat I sympathise, my stomach can be a right nuisance when I run. I've found mulebars are my current preferred food for long runs.
