Blackberries are ripe, there's a hint of mushrooms in the air, and a glimpse of purple on the hills, Autumn is coming. Soon be time for long sleeve base layers, jackets and hats but today it was still warm enough for fingerless mitts and rolled down arm-warmers.

I've somehow got badly sunburnt last weekend. All the skin on my arms and forehead are now pealling.

I was thinking about this post while I was riding to work this morning. For the first time in months I had cold hands and was regretting not wearing gloves.
It was also soooo windy I didn't need to feather the brakes downhill on the fixie. It's the first time EVER i've managed to get to work without having to drag a brake down some of the steeper hills.
Red - yep the weather took a real turn today, super windy here too.
