Ok, so maybe no planes or trains.... but lots of trams. Involvement with the Bloomfield Talks project meant we had a behind the scenes tour of Blackpool Transport Depot today. What could have been deathly dull was actually fascinating, a bit of a look back in time to a slower age of mass transit and quality craftsmanship. And there was a definitely an automobile! I picked up my Fiat 500 from the dealership today. It's so cute, drives really nicely, super efficient, lowest tax bracket, cheap insurance etc etc. I just need to find a way to fit some roof bars for bike carrying and it'll be perfect.
