a speedy 10 miler

I opted for just doing a speedy 10 miler on the road bike today, was home again after about 40 minutes. Would have been quicker were it not for doing a big of animal rescue on route. 2 boxer dogs playing in the traffic on the Wigan Road! Cars screeching to a halt, general chaos. I signalled to all the cars not move, hopped off the bike, gave a whistle and a "come here" both dogs bounded up to me and were happy to be led into the nearest garden, where I managed to locate their owners. Lucky dogs!
