little needles

Went to the physio this morning, turns out I have ITB syndrome in my right knee, which I think I already knew from internet self diagnosis, but is now confirmed. Left leg also a bit ropey on the ITB front, as are ligaments in both knees, apparently I'd be a prime candidate for horrific ski injury! Knee problems might be related to pelvis problems, lack of core stability and dodgy back. So basically a big mess. A bit of manipulation and some acupuncture and all the dodgy areas taped up and I was able to run a couple of miles this afternoon. So something worked, felt a bit uncomfortable but nothing like it has been. Got another appointment Thursday and then I'll go again next week. Feeling a bit more optimistic now about the duathlon.
