The slow running movement

The marathon plan called for 35 minutes running today. I was glad Glyn wanted to come out for a run too. He's more or less starting again from scratch, having not had his trainers on since...... well, who can remember when? Slow beginner pace running with a few strides of walking was exactly what the "someone-may-have-overcooked-it-on-that-fixie-yesterday" legs called for. It was the perfect start to the day.

Well done! Good practice for dealing with that end of marathon dead legs feeling.

I'm still only up to 20mins running (thank god). I couldn't manage 35mins yet. I'm going to try running in the morning instead of after i've just ridden home to see if that helps.
