Sweeping the Lostock 6
It was the Lostock 6 race today, 6 mile road race organised by my running club. I cycled to the start and then rode round behind the race as sweeper. I didn't get to see the excitement of the first man home who was apparently flying round and made a good push at the course record. What I did see though was a group of people working really hard. A fair few first time racers had entered this year all raising money for charity so the back few were struggling from the off to be honest, but they stuck with it and got round, a fantastic achievement. Well done to all finishers.
