Nan, tough as.........

In the deli where wi-fi comes with the latte so sneaking in time for an update. My Gran is doing better than expected, has certainly shuffled away from death's door, relief all round. Thanks to Fleming and his antibiotic discoveries! Physically then she's on the mend, mentally is a bit different as she's very confused. She's been getting steadily more muddled since Christmas but she seems to be declining quickly, worse this week than when I saw her last week. I don't think she got my name right once in my visit with her yesterday, mixing me up with my mum, my sister and the odd random name too. Hopefully once the doctors get her breathing even more stable some of that will start to come back a bit but I was reading some stuff on dementia yesterday and she fits the pattern of symptoms, I don't know medically or pharmacutically what the professionals can do. Just have to see how things pan out.
