new shoes

These are photos from my ride yesterday. Excellent new cycle path along the side of massive Redrow housing development (Buckshaw Village) in Euxton. Thumbs up to the planners on that one.


My 661 shoes arrived this morning. Thought Flipper was going to bark the house down as postie was knocking door before 8am. Bargain price of £24.99 from ChainReaction, hopefully will work a treat with my ultra bargain £5 SPD shimano pedals from the "leftover cycle bits box" at local hardware shop. Will be fun trying those out!

Going for a run later, but dull cleaning to do first. The house looks as if it's inhabited by a pack of swamp donkeys.
