So after my run I pedalled up to Green Machine in Horwich and they sorted me out with some cleats as my bargain shoes and pedals had a mising link preventing the 2 from coming together in a lovely harmony of efficient riding. I also bought a mega multi tool for those emergency road side repairs, 32 tools on "The Alien II" by Toepeak.
Speant aaaaaages trying to fit the cleats! Pesky little things. Anyway they're on the shoes I'll fit the pedals to the bike tomorrow and have a careful wobble round the rec' to get used to them.
