Laziness and igloos

I haven't done any ridden or run for ages. I was away, fair enough, I was ill, also fair enough. Now I just seem to have been swamped with a wave of lazy-can't-be-arsed-ness. The temptation exists to just write the rest of the year off and start full of resolve in 2010. I need to find that inner voice to give myself a good talking to and not let that happen.

Todays only activity. Igloo building.

That's ace. I've never built an igloo. Sadly I'm not going to get a chance before I head off for Christmas break either.

I have snow envy - we only got about 3cm here, and that seemed to turn immediately to ice. What was the construction technique?

And don't worry about running - plenty of time for guilt in January!

Simon - you should come down to the bottom rec next time it snows :0)

Jane - the snow wasn't deep enough to cut blocks so we had a bucket and a washing up bowl and made snow bricks. Packed all the little gaps with snow. Was a bit too small to get really comfy but you could sit upright and cross legged in there.

PP - thanks! We did rope in a few of the local kids to help, none of their parents came out :(

kate - kids jumped up and down and smashed it to bits before we got a chance to sleep out :( snow alien went the same way. Glyn was very sad.
