If anyone finds my mojo, I'd like it back please.

I've lost my motivation, I seem to only have enthusiasm for sleeping and eating cake or ice cream, or cake with ice cream. I sort of know what's going on, being ill and the build up to and subsequent anti-climax of my dissertation deadline, has just all left me feeling very flat. Plans for doing a mountain marathon this summer have all gone wonky, Saunders was looking like my best option date wise but it filled before I got chance to enter, LAMM and Rab both clash with other stuff I've already committed to do (SSUK, and the FRA nav course). I think lacking a clear objective, something definite to train for isn't helping. I was planning on riding my bike today, but when it came to it, I just couldn't be arsed. So if anybody finds my mojo, I'd like it back please, I looked down the back of our sofa and it wasn't there, I found a pound coin and a dog toy though.

Have a look at the FRA Race Calendar and find something interesting in the Lakes - Fairfield Horseshoe (mid May?) - or a couple. Much more fun and enjoyable than Winter Hill and something to aim for.

Have you read "Feet In The Clouds"?
Plenty of ideas in there too

You're probably still recovering from your illness. I'm sure the motivation will return soon

Kate - let's hope so!

Ian - I'm hoping to Fairfield and Kentmere Horseshoes this year, maybe need to focus on what I am doing instead of being disheartened about what I'm not managing to do. And, yep, have read feet in the clouds, a v good read.
