The day after

I had a plan of a recovery jog today thinking it would help ease the bits of me that are sore from yesterdays race. It so didn't happen. What did happen was a double quantity of lunch as I've been hungry all day, 2 pints of nuun because I've also felt headachey/dehydrated and I had an afternoon nap. I've got ideas of mountain marathons rumbling round my head, if 12 miles racing beats me up this much I've got me some serious training to do.

Getting better at recovery just happens the more you do! Compression tights are my hint! They are amazing!!!!

mm are months away. you'll be fine-probably even manage a 21miler next week ;)

Trio - I'm just not sure about compression tights? Do you wear them while competing or after?

It's no wonder you ache. You were running for 3 hrs, up a BIG hill too! Personally I think it's very impressive that you were even thinking of going out again today.
